Marcus Colonna graduated from the University of Detroit with a Bachelor of Architecture and is a licensed Architect in the State of Michigan, NCARB certified, and a Construction Documents Technologist (CDT).

With over 23 years of experience in Architecture, Urban and Graphic Design. Mr. Colonna has practiced in Detroit, Chicago, Toronto and presently New York City, working on several large urban design master plans. He was involved in some of the first loft conversion projects to be built in Detroit, and was listed in Architecture Record as part of a firm noted as one of the Next New Urbanists. In Chicago, he worked on several large residential projects, including The Madison at Racine. His recent project experience includes the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the Remai Modern in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and UBC Alumni Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Mr. Colonna joined OLI in May 2019 and will be taking on the Ascentage Pharma Campus in Suzhou, China and the Fang Suo Bookstore in Shanghai.
